Why Health Services Management?
I originally began my college journey in nursing. During that time, I realized the clinical side of healthcare was not the right fit for me. I wanted to stay in the healthcare field, but in a role that focused more on leadership, strategy, and operations rather than direct patient care.
While exploring different options, I discovered Health Services Management. It aligned with my long-standing interest in business while allowing me to remain connected to healthcare. The combination of management, organizational leadership, and improving systems behind the scenes strongly appealed to me.
