Strategic Planning In Health Organization
PRELIMINARY WORKING DRAFT STRATEGIC PLAN
This is a preliminary working draft strategic plan developed for Scripps Mercy Hospital as part of PBHL-H401: Strategic Planning in Health Organizations. The plan outlines key organizational priorities, environmental and internal analyses, and proposed strategic initiatives aimed at improving workforce stability, patient care, operational efficiency, and overall health outcomes. It reflects the application of strategic planning concepts to a real healthcare organization.

These same steps can be followed to embed other forms of media as well. If your artifact is a video or slide deck, upload it to ONEDRIVE or Google Drive and you can use the same steps. If you have another form, find a YouTube video or steps online on how best to add it. If all else fails, visit the ePortfolio Studio for technical help.
What I learned
I selected this assignment because it represents one of the most comprehensive and collaborative projects I completed. As a group project, it required consistent communication, coordination, and accountability to combine multiple sections into one final strategic plan.
I liked this project because it was something new and more realistic. We had to analyze a real hospital and create a strategic plan based on real problems and solutions. It helped me understand how healthcare organizations actually plan and improve their services.
