Creative Writing
Short Story first draft
This is a short story written for my Creative Writing class. During this time, I switched to an English major for a semester because I was interested in pursuing writing. This was my first short story, and it reflects my ability to develop a narrative, build characters, and express personal themes through storytelling.
The story follows a character who struggles with constantly moving and not feeling connected to others. It explores themes of loneliness, change, and eventually finding a sense of belonging. Through this piece, I focused on character development, emotional depth, and storytelling structure.
