Hiking
Eagle Creek Park
This artifact is from my hiking class, where we met at different parks and completed hikes while learning about each location. The course focused on outdoor activity, park features, and understanding the environment through hands-on experience.

On my visit to Eagle Creek Park. During this hike, we explored the trails and learned about the park’s history, including its development and importance to the community. We also saw birds that are kept at the park because they were injured and cannot survive in the wild, so they are cared for there.
These same steps can be followed to embed other forms of media as well. If your artifact is a video or slide deck, upload it to ONEDRIVE or Google Drive and you can use the same steps. If you have another form, find a YouTube video or steps online on how best to add it. If all else fails, visit the ePortfolio Studio for technical help.
What I learned
I picked this assignment because it was a different experience from my other classes. Instead of being in a classroom, I was able to learn by going outside and exploring Eagle Creek Park. It helped me understand the history and environment in a more hands-on way.
I am proud of this work because it shows my willingness to try something new and learn in a different setting. It also shows that I can observe, pay attention to details, and connect what I see to what I learn. This experience also helped improve my physical health through hiking and supported my mental well-being by being outdoors.
